The LAVAL MK2 is our newly enhanced two-way bass reflex stand-mount / bookshelf speaker, designed to deliver a richer and more refined listening experience. By increasing the cabinet size by just over ten percent, we’ve significantly improved bass depth and midrange presence, while further crossover refinements elevate overall performance to the next level. Built with high-quality European components, the front-ported design allows for extended bass response and efficient placement, even right up against a wall. A distinctive solid walnut front fascia with a wave pattern is paired with real walnut veneer over 3/4-inch (19mm) MDF, reinforced with robust internal bracing for superior  resonance control. Each speaker is finished with hand-rubbed Danish oil, creating a lustrous satin appearance and a silky-smooth feel or painted satin black that still alows for the natural grain to remain visible. Gold-plated terminals, oxygen-free pure copper internal wiring—matching our external cables—and specialized damping materials all come together to create a truly exceptional musical instrument.
